Ivan Dodig and Feliciano Lopez engaged in quite a battle on Day 3 of the US Open, which unfortunately ended when the Croat had to retire due to a hamstring injury while level at 1-all in the 5th set.

The injury was the worst possible scenario for Dodig, but earlier in the scorching-hot New York day, the world No. 53 encountered the best possible scenario when he hit this majestic tweener lob over the head of Lopez for a winner in the second set.
