Ball Kid's Incredible Catch
US Open fans packed Grandstand court to the gills to see Jo-Wilfried Tsonga’s flamboyant brand of tennis on Day 4, and they were not disappointed as the Frenchman rolled over Kazakhstan’s Aleksandr Nedovyesov 6-3, 6-4, 6-4. But the 9th-seed was temporarily outshined on this point as an errant backhand volley (VERY ERRANT) off the racquet of Nedovyesov was snagged by an alert ball kid much to the delight of the crowd (and ESPN’s Brad Gilbert).

Tsonga, who has now won eight of his last nine matches, advances to the third round where he’ll face Spain’s Pablo Carreno Busta, but no word on which court we will see the soft-handed ball kid next.
