The WTA coaching carousel continues to spin this summer, as Croatian teenager Donna Vekic has ended her coaching relationship with David Felgate. The 17-year-old becomes the latest player to part ways with a coach in recent months, following Li Na (Carlos Rodriguez) and Ana Ivanovic (Nemanja Kontic).

Vekic, the current Croatian No. 2 behind Tomljanovic, spent much of her time in London working with Felgate for the past six years. The two met when Vekic was 11 years old after being introduced by her agent, and Felgate called her "a pleasure" to work with in an interview with Simon Cambers at The Tennis Space in Melbourne last January.
Since Vekic defeated Dominika Cibulkova to win her first career WTA title in Kuala Lumpur in April, she's won just two WTA main draw matches. The news of the split comes just one day after she hit 24 double faults in a 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 loss to Tamira Paszek in the qualifying competition of the Rogers Cup in Montreal.
