HEAD tennis has announced its newest contest: Use Your Instinct to Play with Maria Sharapova. The contest will give tennis players the opportunity to play on court with Maria Sharapova. HEAD is asking tennis players to demo the YouTek IG Instinct and submit a 250 word essay or less on why Maria Sharapova should visit their club. One lucky winner and two of her/his friends will get the opportunity to play tennis with Maria Sharapova and receive an autograph session for tennis fans in their town’s tennis complex.
More autographed memorabilia will also be awarded to first, second and third place winners including Maria Sharapova’s new tennis racquet, the YouTek IG Instinct, the Maria Sharapova Tennis Racquet Bag or a cap. All winners will be announced on October 26, of this year.
Essays will be judged based using a strict criteria, so if you are going to enter, make sure you hit all of the points. The judges are looking for creativity, inclusion of the YouTek IG Instinct, relevance to the contest theme, and completeness of essay. Entrants must live in the 50 United States (including Washington DC) and must be 14 years or older to enter. The final day to enter is September 30th, 2011, so get to writing!
