Dominic Thiem will make his return to the ATP Tour at next week’s Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters. The Austrian has been dealing with an ankle injury that forced him to withdraw from Miami.
Thiem has gone 55-13 on clay with seven finals and four titles since 2016. Last year he reached the Roland Garros semifinal before falling to eventual champion Rafael Nadal. In four previous trips to Monte-Carlo, Thiem has yet to reach the quarterfinal.
