Reigning Stuttgart champion Maria Sharapova was one of several stars celebrating the launch of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix at the tournament player party.

The three-time tournament champion has a first-round bye and opens her title defense against either Charleston champion Angelique Kerber or lucky loser Yuliya Beygelzimer in round two.

Andre Agassi dined with Tommy Haas and gave a brief piano performance of the Bill Withers' classic "Lean on Me" (see Agassi play 51 seconds into the video).

Ana Ivanovic, the 2014 finalist, caught up with Caroline Wozniacki and Petra Kvitova at the player party.

Kvitova, who helped lead the Czech Republic to its fourth Fed Cup final in the last five years, will play her first WTA tournament since February.

The third-seeded Czech will play either American Madison Brengle or Italian lucky loser Alberta Brianti in the second round with a possible quarterfinal against Ivanovic.
