Sam Stosur is hoping a familiar voice leads her back to a winning season this year.

According to the Courier Mail, the Australian No. 1 will once again work with David Taylor as her coach. Taylor is the same coach who helped Stosur win her maiden Grand Slam title at the 2011 US Open.
Since amicably parting ways 18 months ago, Stosur endured inconsistent results on the court including during this year where she has been unable to win two matches in a row at any tournament. Stosur had been without a coach for a month after dismissing her previous coach Simon Rea.
In an unusual arrangement, Taylor will continue coaching Ajla Tomljanovic who he started working with in late 2013.
Per Stosur's manager Paul Kilderry, it was Stosur who originally came up of the idea of getting back together with Taylor.
“It’s a little different, but Sam is 31 and she has a lot of her own experience and knows Dave so well,’’ Kilderry said about the news.
Stosur, suffering from an Achilles tendon injury, did not play in Australia's losing Fed Cup tie against the Netherlands. Stosur will practice with Taylor and Tomljanovic in Liechtenstein during a training block. Her next tournament is the upcoming Madrid Open next month.
