Rafael Nadal is preparing to begin his bid for a 9th Monte-Carlo title this week, and one fan captured some precious footage of the Spaniard taking a tumble on the clay. That would have been excellent in and of itself, but when Nadal proceeds to actually keep the ball in play whilst on his back, then rise and sprint to the net to nearly knock off a winner, all we could do is smile.
Who brings that type of determination to the practice court? Evidently, Rafa.
Nadal will begin his quest for the Monte-Carlo title with a second-round battle against either Dominic Thiem or Lucas Pouille.
