David Ferrer Heats Up Halftime


David Ferrer brought a piece of the Miami Open to the Miami Heat game last night.

The 2013 Miami Open finalist took the court at halftime of the Heat game and smacked some souvenir tennis balls into the stands.

Ferrer enjoyed his night out as a fan though the home Heat got burned by the San Antonio Spurs, falling by 14 points.

There's an ongoing connection between Miami's NBA franchise and pro tennis tournament.

Agnieszka Radwanska watched the Heat from her court-side seat last week.



Several NBA players have visited Crandon Park over the years, including Heat guard Dwyane Wade. Remember the time D-Wade squared off against A-Rod in tennis and HORSE?

One of the NBA's explosive scorers found facing Roddick's serve tougher than fighting through the pick-and-roll.
