Canada’s Eugenie Bouchard made waves again during Friday’s Fed Cup draw ceremony when she refused to shake Alexandra Dulgheru’s hand, claiming “It’s nothing personal towards her, I just don’t believe in wishing my opponent good luck before the match.”

Doesn’t quite seem to be in the spirit of good sportsmanship, but Bouchard is a woman who has also claimed that she is not on tour to make friends—she’s here to win.

At least she’s sticking by her guns (for those not in the know, Bouchard began this endearing tradition last year.)

But Bouchard added that after the match she will be more than happy to shake Dulgheru’s hand. “After we play tomorrow, I will shake her hand no matter what happens,” Bouchard said.

Credit Dulgheru, who seemed amused by the whole strange situation, and didn’t appear to take it personally.
