Eugenie Bouchard is still finding her feet on the clay this spring—literally! Watch as the 20-year-old takes a fall during a rally with Alisa Kleybanova at the Portugal Open on Tuesday, but recovers in time to hit a two-hander from the seat of her skirt, and later wins the point after scrambling to the forecourt to knock off a winner.

"That point at the start of the second was crazy: I was on the run and I fell and had pretty much given up on the point,” Bouchard told WTATour.com. “But then I saw the ball come near me and I thought just for fun I'd hit it... I'm looking forward to seeing the video of that and I'm sure I'll have a good laugh."

If Bouchard does take a look at the video, it will be the second laugh she has had over this strange point. The shot itself is great, but maybe the best part of the ESPN video above is Bouchard breaking out in laughter after the point was won. A priceless reaction from the budding young star.

Two quick side notes:

1. The crowd was receptive but not exactly rowdy. Where is Genie's Army when you need them?

2. How in the world does Alisa Kleybanova not win this point? Just one of those things, we guess...

Bouchard went on to win her first-round tilt with Kleybanova, 6-4, 6-1. The second-seeded Canadian will face Yaroslava Shvedova in the second round of the Portugal Open on Wednesday.
