Sharapova has not played since losing in the semifinals of Miami in mid-March. Jelena Jankovic jumped her in the rankings on Monday after Jankovic reached the finals at Bogota.
Sharapova finished outside the Top 10 last in 2010 when she was coming off injuries, and had since returned to the Top 5, including winning the French Open in 2012 to complete her career singles grand Slam.
She has not been ranked outside the Top 10 since March 22, 2011.
The biggest risers in the top 100 were Caroline Garcia, who reached a career-high ranking of 51 after winning her maiden title in Bogota (up from 74), and Camila Giorgi, who rose to a career-high of 54 after reaching the final in Katowice (up from 69).
