Since Jelena Jankovic doesn’t get herself into the news anymore by doing stuff like, you know, winning tennis tournaments, she’s had to go another route -- playing exhibitions against Z-level celebrities.

While allegedly preparing her home country of Serbia’s upcoming matchup with Russia in the Fed Cup, the former world No. 1 knocked the tennis ball around with Redfoo, lead singer of pop band LMFAO.

Don’t worry if little of that last sentence made any sense to you.

LMFAO, which does not play instruments, has cranked out such luminary dance hits as “Party Rock”, “I’m Sexy and I Know It,” and “Sorry for Party Rocking” in the last 18 months.

Jankovic was ranked No. 2 in the world as recently as August of 2010, but an eye injury hampered her the rest of the season, and she lost 10 of her last 15 matches after starting the campaign 33-13.

She had an eye procedure done in the off-season and went 38-22 in 2011, but fell out of the Top 10 and did not win a tournament.

She has started the 2012 season 15-10, sliding from 13th to 20th in the process.
