MINNEAPOLIS ─ Little Miss Tennis, the industry-leading brand for children’s court couture, now has a new owner as tennis togs icon and company founder Marilyn Kosten has decided it was time to let someone else serve after an illustrious and storied 40-year run. “Little Miss has flourished for four decades because of the brand’s reputation for quality and elegant style so I was looking for just the right person to carry on the legacy I worked so hard to build,” said Kosten. And that person turned out to be Mary Morrison who has 15 years of experience in the children’s fashion industry.
“Little Miss and Mary are the perfect match,” added Kosten. “From the minute I met my now dear friend who is like another daughter to me, Mary’s vision and experience convinced me that she was the one to whom I could entrust my company.”
Morrison says she is excited about the opportunity Little Miss Tennis presents. “It’s a fascinating, storied brand with such a rich history,” explained Morrison. “Little Miss has a classic style and loyal following that make it unique. I am honored that Marilyn passed the torch to me.” The new owner of Little Miss Tennis says her future plans include expanding the brand Kosten built. “Moms that wore Little Miss are now buying our clothes for their kids. We want to continue what has worked for 40 plus years and at the same time offer more options to more customers.”
