Former ATP World Tour pro Todd Martin recently purchased a TGA Premier Youth Tennis Franchise based in Jacksonville, FL. Todd also owns Todd Martin Tennis (TMT), located at Sawgrass Country Club. The addition of the TGA Franchise will give Todd the ability to increase traffic at the facility while adding a new revenue stream for his company.
"TGA really appealed to me because in order for tennis to be a viable competitor in U.S. sports, it needs to be in the schools with other sports," Martin explains. "The comprehensive curriculum, developed with the USTA, is also very exciting and proven to be effective. The innovative TGA model stands to help 10 and Under Tennis establish itself as the best pathway for children to get through the early stages of tennis development."
TGA's school based model aligns perfectly with the TIA's mission to grow the game and offer opportunities for tennis providers to expand their businesses and profitability. By making tennis accessible to kids right at their schools, TGA gives customers an easy solution to get their child involved in the sport. Jeff and Dale Moulton recognized this when they purchased a TGA Youth Tennis Franchise in Indianapolis, IN to add to their facility Off the Wall Sports.
"We are very optimistic about adding TGA to our facility and working with the youth of Hamilton and Boone County," said Jeff Moulton. "The TGA franchise fits perfectly with our business model, allowing us to branch out in our community through the schools. It also enables us to get involved with kids by helping to enhance their lives through sports. It keeps them active and fit, and they learn life skills."
