Vandeweghe will Finish Year in Top 10 after Debut

CoCo Vandeweghe makes her Top 10 debut and will finish the season in the WTA’s year-end Top 10 after a runner-up finish in Zhuhai. The American finishes the season at 30-17, posting runner-up showings at Stanford and Zhuhai, and reaching semifinals at the Australian Open and U.S. Open as well as a quarterfinal at Wimbledon.The 25-year-old will be in action this weekend when the Americans battle Belarus for the Fed Cup title in Minsk.
