Kasatkina Hires Belgian Philippe Dehaes as Coach

Russia’s Daria Kasatkina has moved quickly to hire a new coach. The World No.34, who parted ways with her longtime coach Vladimir Platenik, has hired Belgian Philippe Dehaes, according to WTATennis.com.More: Nadal Saves Two Match Points, Survives Pouille in BeijingThe pair will work together at the Kremlin Cup in Moscow, which begins on October 16. Kasatkina and Dehaes have history, as the Russian was paired with the Belgian coach as a 17-year-old prior to signing on with Platenik."A few months ago I looked in the past and I realized my improvement stayed in one spot,” Kasatkina told WTA Insider of her decision to switch coaches. “We sat down and we decided it would be better if we split and I would try something else."Dehaes has previously worked with Steve Darcis and Maryna Zanevska.
