Laura Robson Attended Concert but Is Okay After Las Vegas Shooting

Former World No.27 Laura Robson was at the Route 91 Harvest Festival on Sunday night in Las Vegas when a gunmen opened fire and killed over 50 concertgoers. Robson escaped to safety and later said the gunfire “sounded like fireworks at first and then everybody started running,” in a Twitter post to let everyone know she was okay.

According to BBC Sport, Robson later said: "My friend who was deeper in the crowd has been helping people who were shot. We're all in shock."According to the New York Times, 58 people have been confirmed dead and 515 have been injured at last count.Earlier in the evening, Robson had posted a picture of herself in a cowboy hat, the stage in the background, at the show to commemorate her attendance at the concert.
