Sinner Intends to Play Six Kings Slam in December

Jannik Sinner’s injured knee is apparently feeling better.

The five-time major champion – out since Wimbledon with a right knee injury – will make his comeback from a long layoff at the end of December at the Six Kings Slam event in Riyadh according to reports.

Sinner himself posted an advert for the upcoming event on his Instagram stories, indicating his commitment, and the news has been reported by several outlets in Italy.

His return to the lineup likely means that his original late replacement Learner Tien will be removed from the December competition. Tien was announced as Sinner’s replacement when the event was slated to be held in October.

The Six Kings Slams will precede the bulk of the Australian Swing, and will be played from December 27-30. It was postponed by several months due to conflict in the region, which boiled over earlier this month as the Riyadh Airport was under attack by Houthi Rebels.

Sinner cut his season short after going 44-3 overall, with six titles. He won five consecutive Masters 1000 titles in the spring – at Indian Wells, Miami, Monte-Carlo, Madrid and Rome. That took his record run to six consecutive Masters titles, dating back to his 2025 Paris Masters crown, which set the record for the most consecutive Masters titles won since the series inception in 1990.

His 34 consecutive Masters 1000 victories – a streak still active – is the longest all-time as well.
