The 34-year-old Italian announced she wed 30-year-old Argentinean tennis player and coach Andreas Ignacio Pasutti, in an Instagram post captioned “from here to eternity” and showing an apparent wedding photo of the couple.

Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport’s Martina Sessa reports the wedding took place on Thursday, February 26th in the groom’s home country of Argentina. Giorgi moved to Buenos Aires a few years back.

Giorgi, who officially retired in May of 2024, has faced her fair share of controversy after retirement, including allegations of tax evasion, stolen furniture and faking COVID vaccination at the end of her career.

Now, she seems overjoyed getting married and expecting her first child.

Giorgi has not ruled out a potential return to the pro circuit after giving birth posting on her Instagram Stories “never say never” regarding a tennis return.
