Emma Raducanu will reunite with coach Mark Petchey for next week’s Indian Wells, The Times reports.
The partnership between Raducanu and Tennis Channel analyst Petchey will be on an informal basis and it’s not certain if they will continue working together at next month’s Miami Open, according to The Times.

Last year, Petchey, who formerly coached Andy Murray, worked with Raducanu on an informal basis for about four months starting at the 2025 Miami Open.
Working with Petchey, Raducanu posted some of her best results in years during the 2025 season. Petchey had agreed to work with Raducanu through the end of the grass-court season, but could not commit to coaching her full time because of his television commentary obligations. Raducanu posted a 28-21 record in 2025 breaking serve 38 percent over the course of those 49 matches.
Last month, Raducanu split with Spanish coach Francisco Roig, the ninth coach of her pro career.
The 25th-ranked Raducanu reached the Transylvania Open final last month, her first final since she made history becoming the first qualifier to win a Grand Slam singles title at the 2021 US Open. Raducanu has posted a 6-6 record in 2026.
