Swiatek Remains Perfect in Beijing
Iga Swiatek remains undefeated in Beijing. And now she’s a member of the WTA’s 400-win club.
The 2023 champion, making her second career appearance in the Chinese capital, advanced when Colombia’s Camila Osorio was forced to pull out of the pair’s third-round clash due to injury, 6-0, RET.

Swiatek needed just 40 minutes to register the bagel set, which was the 16th 6-0 set that the six-time major champion has registered this season. It was a closer contest than the scoreline suggests, as the Pole saved all four break points she faced, and went at least to deuce in five of the six games before Osorio pulled the plug.
Swiatek moves on to face American Emma Navarro, who defeated France’s Lois Boisson, 6-2 1-0 RET., in the round of 16.
Elsewhere in Beijing, No.4-seeded Mirra Andreeva took out Jessica Bouzas Maneiro, 6-4, 6-1, while Marta Kostyuk defeated Aliaksandra Sasnovich, 6-4, 6-2.
Swiatek improves to 59-13 on the season, and a perfect 8-0 in Beijing.
