By the Numbers: Carlos Alcaraz at the 2025 US Open

Carlos Alcaraz claimed his sixth major title on Sunday at the US Open, defeating Jannik Sinner 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 to claim his second US Open title. Go inside the numbers of Alcaraz’s latest feat below.

1. On the strength of his US Open title, Carlos Alcaraz returns to No.1 in the ATP rankings, ending Jannik Sinner’s 65-week reign. Alcaraz is back in atop the ATP rankings for the first time since September of 2023. 

2. Alcaraz claims his second US Open title and has now won multiple major titles on all three surfaces. He is just the fourth player in the Open Era, along with Nadal, Djokovic and Mats Wilander, to achieve the feat.
