ATP Rankings Report: Career-High for Rublev, Pospisil and Davidovich Fokina Make Big Jumps

The Russian, who is 19-5 on the season with two titles, bowed out to Daniil Medvedev at the US Open quarterfinals last week.

Alejandro Davidovich Fokina was the biggest mover inside the Top 100. The 21-year-old Spaniard reached the round of 16 at the US Open on his debut and comes in at a career-high ranking of 70 this week.Vasek Pospisil, who also reached the round of 16 for the first time at the US Open, rises 21 spots to 73 in the ATP ranking, his highest ranking since October of 2018.In other news, former World No. 29 American Frances Tiafoe rises 16 spots back to No. 66, while Marcos Giron reaches another career-high at 93, after winning his first Grand Slam match at the US Open.Australia’s Jordan Thompson, who reached his first round of 16 at a major at the US Open, rises 10 spots to 53, while Serbia’s Miomir Kecmanovic claims a career-high ranking of 38 after becoming the second #NextGenATP player to win a title in 2020. He defeated Yannick Hanfmann to win the title in Kitzbuhel.
