WTA Rankings: Kontaveit is the First Estonian to Crack the WTA’s Top-10

And that torrid tennis has taken the Estonian to a new career-high ranking. After claiming the Transylvania Open title on Sunday Kontaveit rises six spots in the WTA Rankings to No.8, becoming the first WTA player from Estonia to ever crack the Top-10.
Kontaveit’s success also ensures her 11th-hour qualification for this year’s WTA Finals Guadalajara, which will be held from Nov 10 to 17 in Mexico.Here is the WTA Finals 2021 field:1. Aryna Sabalenka, 4768
