Grigor Dimitrov Signs on for Houston in 2020
Grigor Dimitrov will make his first appearance at the U.S. Men’s Clay Court in Houston since 2011. The Bulgarian, who finished 2019 with a ranking of 20 thanks to a semifinal appearance at the US Open, has not won a title on clay since 2014. He owns eight ATP titles overall.

Dimitrov, 28, lost in the second round of his only previous appearance at the event. He owns a 65-48 lifetime record on clay.Dimitrov joins three previously announced players in the 2020 singles field at the River Oaks Country Club: 20-year-old Casper Ruud who was the 2019 US clay runner-up, 21-year-old American Frances Tiafoe and two-time finalist Sam Querrey.Record-setting twins Bob and Mike Bryan will headline the River Oaks doubles field. The six-time Houston champions have announced that 2020 will be their final ATP season—they will play their last event at the 2020 US Open. ]]>
