Nadal Pulls out of Cincinnati, But Big Four Still Represented

Another highlight of this year’s draw at Cincinnati is the return of Andy Murray to the singles court. Murray joins Djokovic and Federer in a trio that has won 10 of the last fourteen Cincinnati titles.The Scot, a two-time Cincinnati champion, will face Richard Gasquet on Monday in his first singles match since the Australian Open.If he advances he will face No.4-seeded Dominic Thiem next.Seven-time champion Federer will face either Matteo Berrettini or Juan Ignacio Londero in the second round after a bye, while Djokovic will face either Sam Querrey or Pierre-Hugues Herbert in the second round.Nadal, fresh off his 35th Masters 1000 title, pulled out of the event late on Sunday evening after winning the title in Montreal.
