Tiafoe Has Cyst Removed, Return Is Imminent
The American had a minor procedure after his third-round loss in Montreal.

Frances Tiafoe took to Instagram to announce that he’d had a cyst removed, from around his right wrist or hand (based on the below picture).

“They were able to diagnose and take out a cyst that has been causing issues for some time now,” Tiafoe wrote. “Everything went well and I apprediace all the messages and support. I’ll be back soon.”
Tiafoe, who lost 6-2, 2-0 RET to Arthur Rinderknech in the third round in Montreal, is on the Cincinnati Open entry list, so likely will not miss an event.
