The country more famous for sportsmen with names like Lemieux and Gretzky just found a new object of affection.

Twenty -year old Canaidan Milos Raonic, ranked 152nd in the world, shocked 10th-seeded Mikhail Youzhny in four sets Saturday to reach the fourth round of the Australian Open.

With a career ATP record of 4-7 entering the tournament, Raonic was hardly the odds-on choice for a fourth-round appearance.

In fact, just by reaching the fourth round he's guaranteed almost as much money for this two weeks ($93,000) as he had made previously for his entire career ($124,433).

Raonic tallied an incredible 31 aces and only double faulted twice. He needed every one of those aces, second most by any player in the tournament, to make up for his 54 unforced errors.

At 6-feet, 5-inches, Raonic's fastest serve was clocked at 142.9 miles per hour, the fastest the Open has seen to date.

"I've always known what I can do," Raonic said. "It's jsut been about applying it and using my game, imposing my weapons on my opponents."

The Canadian youth moves on to face seventh seed David Ferrer, who swept Richard Berankis in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, 6-1.
