The top 16 players in the Women's Tennis Association rankings remained in place on Monday, although Qatar champion Vera Zvonareva did narrow the gap between herself and No. 2 Kim Clijsters with her title win.

Zvonareva improved her tally to 7,565 at No. 3 in the world. Clijsters is second with 8,835, and
Caroline Wozniacki first at 9,550.

There were three moves inside the Top 20: Marion Bartoli flip-flopped spots with Maria Sharapova, dumping the former No. 1 even closer to irrelevance, and Nadia Petrova moved up two spots from 22nd to 20th.

Bartoli reached the semifinals at Qatar, upsetting Shahar Peer in the second round, and stands at 11-5 on the year, having reached at least the quarterfinals in three of the five tournaments she's played so far this year.

The biggest move inside the Top 100 came courtesy doubles start Gisela Dulko, who jumped from 73rd to 56th. Dulko notched the title at Acapulco over the weekend as the No. 4 seed, losing only one set in five matches.

It was Dulko's fourth title as singles player and first of the year. She is now 5-2 as a singles player on the season, and 6-1 in doubles.
