(April 11, 2010) World No. 8 Ronald Vink continued the fine form he displayed throughout this week to take the title today.

The Dutchman dominated against fourth seeded Stefan Olsson and won his maiden Super Series title with unexpected ease, 6-2, 6-1, at the
Florida Open, part of the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour, in Boca Raton, Florida.

The fourth-ranked Olsson had a great week powering his way into the finals and upsetting World No. 2 Stephane Houdet on the way.

Today, however, Olsson could not get into the match . His usually powerful serve was off target and his crushing forehand returns went long too often, helping Vink who, in turn, showed the consistency he has been displaying all week.

Vink's performance en route to the title left an impression on his fellow competitors.

"After my loss to Stefan (Olsson) and now seeing Ronald (Vink) beating him, makes it very interesting at the top of the rankings," the top-seeded Houdet said. "Like with the top ranked men on the ATP Tour, it seems that also in wheelchair tennis the top players can beat each other on any given day!”
