(October 19, 2010) Maria Kirilenko plays her first-round Moscow match today and she's already rising up the Russian rankings before striking a single shot at the Kremlin Cup. Kirilenko and former doubles partner Maria Sharapova have cracked the top 50 of Maxim Magazine Russia's 100 Hottest Russians list.

The magazine selected its top 100 hottest Russian women and readers vote on their final placement on the list.

The 23-year-old Kirilenko, who beat Sharapova at the Australian Open in January, comes in at No. 43 on Maxim Russia's list.

The Siberian-born Sharapova is currently No. 50 on the magazine's hot list.

The sixth-seeded Kirilenko, who reached the Kremlin Cup quarterfinals last year, faces Romania's Alexandra Dulgheru in the first round of her hometown tournament tonight. The winner of that match will play Kateryna Bondarenko for a spot in the quarterfinals.
