Ruud edged France's Quentin Halys, 6-4, 3-6, 7-6(2), to reach his first final of 2023 in Saturday's second semifinal .

It is Kecmanovic's second final in two months following his trip to the Delray Beach final where he fell to Taylor Fritz.

The sixth-seeded Kecmanovic has not dropped a set in tournament victories over Luca Nardi, Jurij Rodionov,  Bernabe Zapata Miralles and Cecchinato.

Superior serving carried Kecmanovic through today's first semifinal.

Kecmanovic cranked five aces against no double faults, won 26 of 29 first-serve points and saved both break points he faced in a 68-minute triumph.
