Katerina Siniakova and Barbora Krejcikova claimed their first WTA Finals title, defeating Hsieh and Mertens for the doubles crown.

Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova claimed the doubles title at the WTA Finals in Guadalajara, defeating Elise Mertens and Hsieh Su-Wei, 6-3, 6-4.
The 2021 Roland-Garros and Olympic champions finished a fantastic season with their fifth title, and as a result of the victory Siniakova vaults over Hsieh to finish the year as the WTA’s year-end No.1.
