Pliskova pumped 10 aces against five double faults in a two hour, five-minute win raising her record to 2-0 against Kuznetsova.

The world No. 101 is through to her first semifinal since she fell to Mona Barthel in the Prague final in May of 2017.

Iga Swiatek stans between Pliskova and a trip to the final.

An inspired Swiatek smacked nine aces in a 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 comeback win over eighth-seeded Vera Lapko.

Fiona Ferro slipped past Swiss Stefanie Voegele, 7-5, 7-6 (5).

Ferro faces Polona Hercog for a place in the final.
