Martina Hingis will try to add to her total of 23 major titles over the weekend at the U.S. Open.

Martina Hingis reached the women’s doubles and mixed doubles finals on Friday at the U.S. Open. The Swiss, who owns a total of 23 major titles (five singles, 12 doubles and six mixed), moved into the doubles final alongside partner Chan Yung-Jan with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over former doubles partner Sania Mirza and Peng Shuai.
Hingis and Chan, seeded fourth, will face No.7-seeded Katerina Siniakova and Lucie Hradecka in the final.
Hingis and Chan have already won six titles this season and were the first two qualify for the WTA Finals at Singapore.
The Swiss teamed up with Jamie Murray of Great Britain to reach the mixed doubles final on Friday, defeating CoCo Vandeweghe and Horia Tecau, 6-4, 7-6(8). The top seeds are bidding to make it back-to-back titles at the majors—they won Wimbledon this summer.
