Strycova’s 6-4, 6-1 victory marks the second title of her career.

"I’m very happy, it’s the second title of my career, it’s sweet, it feels nice," exclaimed Strycova during her post-match press conference, according to WTATennis.com. "Maybe the thoughts will come to me a little bit more tomorrow, but I feel relief, I feel very tired, but I feel very happy."

Rybarikova was only able to win 48 percent of her service points and was broken five times on six break points faced. She has now dropped four in a row to Strycova.

Strycova was able to win 28 of 34 first-serve points to negate her poor performance on second serve (2 for 14 points won) and faced only one break point in the match.

After the match, the Czech received a pleasant surprise from the media.

Top-seeded Kiki Bertens and Johanna Larsson took the doubles title over Natela Dzalimidze and Xenia Knoll in a match tiebreak.
