The top-seeded Ukrainian was rewarded for those efforts today.

Svitolina smacked six aces and dropped just seven points on her first serve beating Peng Shuai, 6-3, 6-2, in the Taiwan Open final to collect her fifth career title.
Applying pressure from the baseline, Svitolina laced a forehand winner down the line breaking to snare the opening set.
The 13th-ranked Svitolina dropped just one set in her five tournament victories. Svitolina wrapped up the win in 68 minutes earning the $43,000 champion's check and 280 ranking points.
Peng, who knocked off second-seeded Samantha Stosur and Australian Open doubles champion Lucie Safarova en route to the final, collected the runner-up check of $21,400.
It is Svitolina’s first WTA title in a year.
Last February, she outlasted Genie Bouchard, 6-7 (5), 6-4, 7-5, to win Kuala Lumpur.
The title run continues a strong start to the 2017 season for Svitolina, who toppled then world No. 1 Angelique Kerber en route to the Brisbane semifinals last month.
