Nick Kyrgios has pledged $100K Australian of the proceeds from his upcoming charity match with Juan Martin del Potro to his foundation, which has been set up to help underprivileged and at-risk youth in Australia.

The 22-year-old World No.21 took to social media to announce the news on Wednesday.

“At a local hospital in France earlier this year, I realized I had to do something to help others,” he wrote on Facebook. “It sparked me to take action and create the NK Foundation. I’m currently on the plane to Argentina to play a match against Del Potro and I will be donating $100k of my paycheque to the foundation. I’d LOVE this donation to be met dollar for dollar by businesses that believe in our vision and want to help me make a difference to underprivileged and at risk youth in Australia.”

The exhibition takes place on December 15th at Estadio Luna Park in Buenos Aires. Tl learn more about Kyrgios’ foundation, follow the link below.
