Petra Kvitova continued a successful comeback to send the Czech Republic into a final return.

The two-time Wimbledon champion defeated Caroline Garcia, 6-4, 6-4, to give the host Czech Republic an insourmountable 3-0 lead over France in the best-of-five match semifinal in Ostrava.

The victory vaults the defending champion into its fourth Fed Cup final in the last five years.

The Czech Republic will face either Russia or Germany in the November 14-15th final.

Kvitova broke in the third game then blasted a backhand pass to break again in the seventh game. She served out the set with authority.

Racing out to a 4-1 double-break lead in the second set, Kvitova's only real stumble came when she failed to serve out the match on her first attempt. She settled in and closed it out to send the Czech faithful into celebration.

Kvitova, who has won 10 of her last 11 Fed Cup singles matches, has been nearly unbeatable playing indoors in the international team competition. She raised her Fed Cup record indoors to 24-3.
