The WTA Finals Singapore field is set.

Elina Svitolina and Karolina Pliskova have officially qualified for the season-ending championships, which will be played for the final time at Singapore next week.

Update: Kiki Bertens has also qualified, based on Simona Halep's withdrawal. Here are the official eight qualifiers:

Bertens and Pliskova both fell in early action at Moscow on Wednesday, which, at the time, sealed the fate of Bertens, who was bidding for a last-ditch run at the elite eight. But the Dutchwoman still qualifies for the main draw due to Halep’s withdrawal from Singapore.

It's well-deserved for Bertens, who leads the tour in Top 10 wins with ten in 2018. The Dutchwoman is the first woman from her country to qualify for the WTA's season-ending championships since 1997.
