The draws are set for the 2020 Billie Jean King Qualifiers.

The 2022 Qualifiers will feature 18 teams who will contest home and away ties to be played on 15-16 April. They include: the 10 nations which finished in 3rd-12th place at the 2021 Finals, and the eight winning nations from the 2021 Billie Jean King Cup Play-offs (including Romania, the highest-ranked losing nation from the Play-offs).

Also of note: By reaching the final in Prague this week, RTF and Switzerland have qualified automatically for the 2022 Finals.

The nine winning nations in the Qualifiers will advance to the 2022 Finals, along with Switzerland, Russia and a wild card, while the nine losing nations will compete in the 2022 Play-offs.

The full draw for the Qualifiers is as follows:

(s) = seed; (c) = choice of ground; * = choice of ground

The Billie Jean King Cup by BNP Paribas Finals being played on 8-13 November.

The venue for the 2022 Finals will be announced at a later date with the host nation guaranteed a place in the Finals. If the host nation has already qualified for the Finals, the highest-ranked losing nation from the 2022 Qualifiers will be awarded a wild card.

11 April: Regional Group I events (Americas, Asia/Oceania, Europe/Africa)
15-16 April: Billie Jean King Cup Qualifiers
8-13 November: Billie Jean King Cup Finals
11-12 November: Billie Jean King Cup Play-offs
