Serena Williams is receiving support from a member of the West Wing.

First daughter Ivanka Trump took to Twitter to support the 23-time Grand Slam champion, who is not seeded at Roland Garros, and call on the WTA Tour to change its rules for players who take maternity leave.

"This is ridiculous," Ivanka Trump tweeted. "Serena Williams is a formidable athlete (best ever!) and loving new mother. No person should ever be penalized professionally for having a child! The WTA should change this rule immediately."

The 23-time Grand Slam champion is unseeded in Paris.

Williams took time off the pro tour after giving birth to daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian on September 1st.

The former world No. 1's ranking has dropped to No. 453 following a 14-month maternity leave. Williams is playing Roland Garros on a protected ranking.

Hall of Famer John McEnroe recently revealed Donald Trump offered him $1 million to play Serena in a battle-of-the sexes match.

Williams hit with Trump while he was campaigning for President, though at the 2016 French Open she said she was not supporting any candidate.

A life-long Jehovah's Witness, Williams said she doesn't vote and isn't involved in politics.

"I have met (Trump) several times, as I live in Palm Beach and everyone in Palm Beach kind of know each other," Williams told the media at Roland Garros. "I don't get involved in politics. I don't vote. It goes back to my religion, and I'm not involved at all in that political scene."
