Former World No.13 Nick Kyrgios (currently 134) has taken a wild card into next week’s BNP Paribas Open main draw, along with former World No.8 Jack Sock (currently 130). Both are Grand Slam doubles champions.

Kyrgios reached the quarterfinals at Indian Wells in 2017 (4-3 lifetime at Indian Wells), while Sock reached the semifinals in the same season (9-8 lifetime) and also owns two BNP Paribas Open doubles titles (14-2 lifetime, doubles titles: 2015 with Pospisil, 2018 with Isner).

American Sam Querrey also picked up a wild card, with one more men’s singles wild card expected to be named in the coming days.

Former World No.1 Andy Murray has also received a wild card - it was announced earlier in the week.

On the women’s side 20-year-old former junior No.1 Emma Navarro received a main draw wild card, along with Claire Liu, Hailey Baptiste, Katie Volynets, Elvina Kalieva and 2021 US Open Girls’ Singles and Doubles champion Robin Montgomery.

They join 2018 champion Naomi Osaka and 2020 Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin, who were awarded wild cards earlier.
