Roger Federer got together with a few good friends in San Jose and everybody went home a winner. Federer, along with Jack Sock, Bill Gates and Savannah Guthrie wowed the crowds at the SAP Center in San Jose on Monday night, as Sock and Federer played an exhibition after Federer teamed up with Gates to defeat Sock and Guthrie in a one-set showdown.

According to the Associated Press, Federer's "The Match for Africa" exhibition sold more than 15,000 tickets to benefit his foundation that supports education for children in Africa. At the end of the night, the foundation had raised another $2.5 million.

It was light-hearted evening that featured a lot of playfulness, some brilliant tennis and tons of smiles.

Most of all it was another chance for Federer to use his starpower to move his philanthropic efforts forward.
