Rafael Nadal has elected to skip next week’s Aegon Championships at London’s historic Queen’s Club. The 2008 champion said he’s worn out from Roland Garros and is making the decision on advice from his medical team.

“I was hoping to take some days off and then be ready, but at 31, and after a long clay court season with all of the emotions of Roland Garros, and after speaking to my team and doctors, I have decided my body needs to rest if I am going to be ready to play Wimbledon,” Nadal said.

Five-time champion Andy Murray is the top seed at Queen's Club. Stan Wawrinka, 2014 winner Grigor Dimitrov, and last year’s runner-up Milos Raonic. Juan Martin del Potro, Nick Kyrgios, Jo Wilfried Tsonga, Marin Cilic and Tomas Berdych are also part of the field.
