Roger Federer finds beauty in simplicity.

The father of two sets of twins recalls the best advice he's received came from his mom, Lynette Federer, who delivered a tennis truth to her son.

"Never let the ball bounce twice," Federer tells Vogue at the 3:30 mark of its 73 Questions with Roger Federer video above. "Makes sense. So simple, right?"

Tennis fans know Federer's father, Robert Federer, and mom, Lynette, are both avid club players.

In fact, Federer revealed his dad and fellow one-handed backhand aficionado encouraged the 20-time Grand Slam champion to drive his one-hander more often.

Some may not know Lynette Federer has coached tennis though she never coached her famous son.

Federer, who has been good friends with fashion icon Anna Wintour for many years, also offers some serving tips, demonstrates the toughest shot in tennis, cites his favorite shot (it's a tie), confesses he was a huge fan of the TV show Prison Break and reveals his greatest vice: "I'm a chocoholic."

So what's the best lesson the Grand Slam king has learned from his four kids?

"Patience and snuggling," Federer replied.

The eight-time Wimbledon champion is the latest tennis superstar to rally with revelation in Vogue's 73 Questions With series or visit with Vogue's video team.
