Brazil’s Beatriz Haddad Maia has been provisionally suspended by tennis’ Anti-Doping Committee, pending a determination of the charge against her at a full hearing.

The 23-year-old World No.99 provided a urine sample on June 4 that and was found to contain SARM S-22 and SARM LGD-4033 metabolite.

Haddad Maia retains the right to appeal the decision but has not done so at this point.

Haddad Maia, a former World No.58, upset GarbiƱe Muguruza in the first round at Wimbledon earlier in July. She recently recovered from a 2018 back surgery and missed both Roland Garros and Wimbledon last year due to the injury.
