Roger Federer is no stranger to singing. After all, the Swiss is a member of a critically acclaimed boy band that also features Tommy Haas and Grigor Dimitrov—but these days the Swiss maestro is singing with a new partner.

In a recent promotional video for the Shanghai Rolex Masters, Federer teams up with the tournament’s mascot to sing happy birthday—in Chinese. Roger does a nice job hitting the high notes, as he is wont to do.

The Shanghai Rolex Masters celebrates is ten-year anniversary this year. It takes place from October 7-14. The Swiss is the defending and two-time champion at the event. He defeated Rafael Nadal in straight-sets in last year’s final.
