According to Serbian Davis Cup doctor Zdeslav Milinkovic, Novak Djokovic’s U.S. Open is very much in doubt.

Milinkovic gave comments to Serbian paper Zurnal, saying that the current World No.4 will need to rest for the next 6-12 weeks.

Reportedly, Djokovic has a bone bruise, but we can expected a more thorough recap of his condition from the 12-time major champion himself later this week. After receiving treatment in Toronto last week, Djokovic flew back to Belgrade, where he will reportedly address media in the coming days.
